Amy has been practicing yoga for 11 years and became a certified teacher in 2016. She completed her 200-teacher training with the renowned Nosara Yoga Institute, Costa Rica.
She has a real passion for teaching from the heart. Her style is a gentle Hatha flow which focuses on prana (breath) and alignment of the classic yoga postures. Breath is King in yoga and through Amy’s teachings you will develop a strong practice that will focus on shutting the chattering mind.
Whilst attending yoga classes herself Amy has always had a strong understanding of alignment. We are all not Bendy Wendies however through the correct alignment we can make our practice stronger.
Amy has for the last 3 years been teaching at the Moor Pool Heritage Hall. Her classes are suitable to all levels including beginners. Amy also runs an 8-week introduction to yoga on request.
Amy also recently completed her Kid Yoga Teacher Training course and teaches at Harborne Juniors
